Working with academic literature and integrative literature reviews

Seminar content This course will help students to understand their current strategy towards documented and analysing the academic literature in relation to their research and help them to identify existing weaknesses and strengths. The course will then move on to explain and help students understand the fundamental aspects of undertaking an integrative literature review. This will include how to decide if an integrative literature review would make a useful contribution to their area of research, how the method is applied, how to write up a quality review paper and responding to comments from reviewers.
Target group This course is designed to be interdisciplinary but is focused more towards business, management and social science students.
