| Description | This short workshop introduces the Gaussian copula approach to addressing endogeneity issues, as developed by Park and Gupta (2012). The workshop will cover the basic theoretical foundations of the method, focusing on its ability to correct for endogeneity bias in regression models. Additionally, we will also discuss recent research uncovering limitations of the technique as well as advancements and refinements to the original approach. Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of the core problem of endogeneity and traditional methods of correcting endogeneity such as the instrumental variable approach. |
