|Course description||This master course will cover the basics in equilibrium modeling generalizing optimization (via KKT conditions) and non-cooperative game theory.
Wednesday afternoon, 28.09. (DIW Berlin), brief review of optimization problems (e.g., convexity, Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions, convexity)
Thursday morning, 29.09. (DIW Berlin), introduction to mixed complementarity problems, review of Nash equilibrium problems, examples of MCPs in energy and transport
Saturday morning 01.10. (TU Dresden), additional examples of MCPs in energy and transport
|Target group||PhD students, excellent Master students with prior knowledge in optimization (operations research)|
|Certificate||Ph.D. students from the Faculty of Economics, TU Dresden can earn a certificate according to § 9 of the Ph.D. doctoral regulations (PromO 2018):|
Ph.D. students of Business Management: § 9 (1) Nr. 5 or 6
